Shipping policy
1. Shipping & Delivery
All orders from IMPERARI ship free of charge. Each parcel is delivered exclusively by courier service, is fully insured until personal delivery, and requires a signature upon receipt. If no one is available, the parcel will be redirected to the nearest pick-up station or courier branch. A valid government-issued ID (e.g., passport or national ID card) may be required for collection.
Once your piece is completed, you will receive a shipping confirmation by email including a tracking link.
2. Production & Delivery Timeframes
Each piece of jewellery is individually crafted to order at IMPERARI. The standard production and delivery time is typically 3 to 4 weeks. For pieces requiring individual modifications or bespoke adjustments, the production time may extend to 4 to 5 weeks.
The production and delivery time begins upon final order confirmation by IMPERARI.
Following the placement of your order, a technical and production feasibility check is carried out. Final order confirmation is typically provided within 1–3 business days.
This made-to-order approach ensures the highest level of precision, controlled craftsmanship, and a responsible approach to luxury production.
If you require a prioritized order, we invite you to contact our Concierge Service prior to placing your order. Feasibility will be assessed individually.
3. Tracking & Status Updates
As soon as your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking link.
For status inquiries, you may contact our customer service at any time.
For personalized or bespoke pieces, you may request an update after 3 weeks (or after 4 weeks for custom orders).
4. Shipping to Alternate Addresses
If you would like delivery to an address different from your billing address, we require the following documents for verification:
• A copy of a valid government-issued ID (e.g., passport or driver’s license)
• A recent proof of billing address (e.g., utility bill or bank statement, not older than 3 months)
• A signed authorization from the cardholder permitting delivery to the alternate address (template available upon request)
These measures protect you against unauthorized orders and ensure a secure shopping experience.
5. Duties, Taxes & Import Charges
• Deliveries within the European Union:
IMPERARI applies the business regime under section 19 of the German VAT Act (UStG). Prices are final prices and no VAT is charged or shown separately. In general, no additional customs duties are charged within the EU. Any other public charges that may be levied in the destination country (e.g., national excise or consumption taxes) are borne by the customer unless they are already shown at checkout.
• Deliveries outside the EU (e.g., USA, UK, Switzerland):
Deliveries are generally made under Incoterms DAP / DDU (Delivered At Place / Delivered Duty Unpaid). Additional customs duties, import taxes, or local VAT are not included in the purchase price and will be charged separately in accordance with your country’s regulations. These costs must be fully borne by the customer.
6. Delays & Liability
All delivery times are non-binding estimates. We accept no liability for delays caused by customs clearance, carriers, unforeseen events, or force majeure.

7. Undeliverable or Uncollected Parcels
If a parcel is returned to us because delivery was unsuccessful for reasons attributable to the customer (e.g., incorrect address, refusal of acceptance, failure to collect within the allotted timeframe), the goods will only be re-shipped to the customer.
Any additional shipping costs as well as any return, handling or storage fees, including any customs duties, taxes or import charges that have been incurred and charged back to us by the carrier or customs authorities, must be borne by the customer.
A refund of the purchase price is excluded in such cases.
